Otakar Slavik

Born 1931 in Pardubice, diet 2011 in Vienna.

Otakar Slavik nightingale was one of the leading Czech painters of postwar abstraction and figurative coloristic, first studied painting in the studio of Eugene does not blow at the Pedagogical Facultz in Bratislava, then Graduated in 1955 at Universitz in Prag. In the seventies, he emigrated to Austria and from 1981 he served as a member of the Vienna House of Artists (Künster Haus Wien). He lived and worked in Vienna.
