Takesada Matsutani

Matsutani Takesada was born 1937 in Osaka, Japan.

As a teenager, he went to the art school of his hometown city, where he studies painting and traditional Japanese art.

Then suffering from tuberculosis, he spends eight years of his life at home, most of the time bedridden.
1960 he had become a member of the Gutai group and was exhibited regularly until the dissolution of the group in 1972.
In 1966, he came to Paris to study and never left.
